Meade County RECC’s Brandenburg substation experienced an outage this morning, when a bird came in contact with energized equipment. We have over 2000 member-owners without power currently. Our crews are on site and will be restoring power as soon as possible. We understand the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

With over 2000 member- owners out, our phone system has been overflowed with calls. We are aware of this outage and hope to have all power restored soon.
